Where those settings to be changed for admins are located? I tin forward the info for admins - if you mean aforementioned people that run meetings.
I have this problem with all my teams meetings. There are at to the lowest degree three different hosts so far.
Since this corona will be with us for months to come I would appreciate all help with the issue.
For meetings what I host myself I use google hangouts without whatsoever bug.

No, I am referring to the IT personnel in accuse of assigning Teams accounts (if you lot don't know who is your admin, please contact the Information technology section of your company or schoolhouse).

Why would anyone foreclose people updating their profile pictures? And why the selection is not subconscious or grayed out in UI if it deceit be used.
Where is instructions how to change this? Is information technology a secret to exist revealed simply for admins? :)
I'm pretty certain that this issue is problems or bad design if it is not a bug.
Where is some kind of bugzilla where I can report this to exist fixed?
And why I'one thousand having the aforementioned issue with three separate places. Company, hobby and government run teams? Probably they all run same version of teams server or whatsoever it is. Or information technology is just client issue / bug.

I was able to find these possible solutions:
"Scaling the image to 100x100 resolved my event."
"My fix: change via online Teams and not the desktop app - worked for me"
"The way I got it to piece of work was the following style. I logged in to my Microsoft Office 365 account, which is continued to the same business relationship as my Teams is. I changed my profile picture there and decided to wait for 24h and then information technology updated onto my Teams contour picture. No affair how big picture it was, or what format.
TLDR. Log in to your Microsoft Part 365 account that is connected to your Teams. Change the profile flick in that location and after 24 hours it should have updated in Teams."

I take try and fail:
Epitome size form 90x90px to 1600x1600px PNG and JPG.
Changing prototype using web folio / app version and desktop app.
Now I changed my image to Part 365 account that already had image. Image is now different, so I wait 24h. Simply if information technology takes image from there it should already show upwards.
I'm not having my hopes up. This boils downward to bad code, bad design of product or major problems on product.
And teams team seems to not care virtually the issue that affects few million users. That is the distressing office.
How many hours I must put in this to get information technology stock-still or is this the light seedling that does not need changing considering darkness is standard? :)

I had the exact issue and uploading the picture through the Spider web Interface as opposed to the client worked.
Definitely seems to be a client problems.

I accept tried changing my contour pic multiple times with multiple different pictures and sizes. I accept tried in the spider web version as well as the app version. Others in my company (with same level of access) accept been able to do it, but I go along to get the generic error message "There was a problem saving the photo. Please try again."
Very frustrating - especially coming from Microsoft. As a QA Analyst, this is just unacceptable to have a bug similar this get on for so long. Very poor quality.

I think Pedro's advice hither is probable to produce good results. Merely, the other folk who have posted their frustration with this answer are also likely correct--there is a bug--in fact many bugs in Teams that give instability to the application. For some weird reason (weird until it becomes known), commands and deportment exercise non always sync in Teams. For example, I sometimes add members to channels or create new groups that only some members of the channel or the grouping tin can see on their team environment--only calling the It people has fix this for me.
